I have used Frida Khalo and Mexico as a theme.
It's quite a good size for shopping, traveling or just really handy for a day out. You can carry everything in here. What a fabulous treat for yourself or for a lover of Frida Khalo.
 
There's also a Sugar skull and Mexican folk art influence.
This one has a Frida Khalo front panel and a whole patchwork of wee bits of fabrics including velvet, ribbon, lace and braid. I have sewn on silver charms and buttons and have used hand and machine embroidery.
 
It has my signature ribbon tags and silver charms.
 
Fully lined with a wide fabric trim.
 
A deep pocket decorated with braid and ribbon, it closes with a magnetic snap. The straps are velvet trimmed.
 
I never make exactly the same bags so this is a unique piece of fabric art.
