I love these stunning genuine Japanese fabrics, it’s superb quality and just gorgeous to work with. I have used Japanese fabric, patchwork and quilting as a theme.
Lots of colours, pinks, purples, greens, gold and black. I use lots of ribbon and embroidery to highlight and draw the colours together.
It’s quite a good size for shopping, traveling or just really handy for a day out. You can carry everything in here. What a fabulous treat for yourself or for a lover of vintage floral designs and flowers.
The fabric patterns include spring blossom, cranes, fans and ribbons.
One side features a geisha panel, the other, a crane.
This one has two fronts really as both sides are beautiful , change as it suits you!
Each has a whole patchwork of wee bits of fabrics including velvet ribbon, satin ribbon, vintage lace and braid. I have sewn a butterfly button on the top edge.
It has my signature ribbon tags and Tibetan silver charm cluster as well as lots of extra surface embroidery.
A generous inner pocket decorated with braid and a beautiful fabric lining, t is softly padded and closes with a magnetic snap.
It has a strip side with curved corners which make this bag nice and roomy when needed. Pop everything in!
The straps are turquoise cherry blossom fabric and can be used as handles or to pop on your shoulder.
I never make exactly the same bags so this is a unique piece of fabric art.
