This scalloped box has a  stunning miniature of a troika dashing through the snow. 
These beautiful boxes are traditionally made from papier-mache, painted using temporary or oil paints and then  lacquered to finish. 
The artist has signed it on the edge.
It has a red interior and wooden chalets painted on the edge.
