Beautiful, Medieval style Tapestry Kit, The Greyhound and The Bee.
A wonderful project for a lover of the Arts and Crafts Movement.
The central panel shows the greyhound sitting against a blue tiled background. This is framed by an outer border are filled with strawberry and bee 'tiles'.
Inspired by a stone carving in the Natural History Museum, London.
The greyhound is looking over his shoulder at a bee, which is picked out in colour from the background. The bees and strawberries in shades of blue are a nod to the beautiful Delft tiles.
An absorbing project which will be enjoyed by all levels of ability.
Sewn using Victorian cross stitch, no need for a frame.
